This is a landscape I painted during self isolation. The concept depicts a window overlooking nature. This to me is like an escape from the quarantine environment and the feelings one gets that are associated with it.

I took this video at sunrise. In the background, you can hear birds chirping which I think relates to the concept of feeling like a cage during quarantine. It makes me think an reflect on the value of enjoying the small things like the chirping of birds while we are in this situation.

This painting I made is a reflection on the one positive outcome of the pandemic - lockdown has meant that the natural environment all around the world is in better condition now than it has been in a very long time. The air quality is clean, the sky is blue, water is clear and we are in the middle of a very beautiful spring season with plant and flower growth flourishing.

This was one of the few sketches I made after many years as I tried to get into art once again for my MYP art portfolio. It is just based on another sketch I saw on Instagram, but I was still quite happy after I made this (I was otherwise used to making drawings of Spongebob) so this sort of inspired me to get back into the world of art.

One of the things that this pandemic has taken away from us is our ability to travel. Our world had become so interconnected, we took travelling for granted. I decided to compile some of my favourite pictures I have taken on various trips I have taken. I have always loved photography and the ability to capture a moment in time especially in some of the most beautiful places in the world.

I created this little painting for Earth Day celebrated on the 22nd of April. Often, we forget to protect our dying plant life as we continue to emit harmful greenhouse gases into the air. We forget that everything is interconnected with the sustenance and prosperity of our planet.
